Our Story

Hi, I'm Jeff, the founder of Reelin Family Fun.

Fishing has always been more than a hobby for me. It's been a source of peace, patience, joy, and connection with the people I love most.

I've been fishing with family since I was a child, and those experiences taught me something I never forgot:

Some of the best memories don't come from what you catch. They come from who you're with.

Over the years, I began seeing more families looking for ways to spend meaningful time together outdoors. Kids needed opportunities to put down the screens and get their hands dirty. Parents and grandparents wanted to share outdoor experiences but sometimes didn't know where to start.

And organizations were looking for ways to bring people together through something more engaging than another activity or another booth.

I realized there was an opportunity to take something I've loved my entire life and use it as a way to help people connect.

That's where Reelin Family Fun began.

Today, we create outdoor experiences for families, schools, churches, camps, community organizations, and businesses—with fishing as one of the tools we use to bring people together.

Sometimes the experience happens beside the water. Sometimes it doesn't involve water at all.

But the purpose stays the same:

Create meaningful experiences. Build confidence. Bring people together.

Fishing shaped my life.

The outdoors brought my family together. And today, those experiences are the foundation of Reelin Family Fun.

We use fishing and nature as tools to create opportunities for people to get outside, participate together, have fun, and develop a greater appreciation for the outdoors.

Sometimes that means fishing.

Sometimes it means exploring nature, playing a game, taking on a challenge, discovering wildlife, or learning how we can help protect the places we enjoy.

The activity may change.

The reason we do it doesn't.

We want people to experience the outdoors together in a way they'll remember.
