What did you and your family enjoy most about the Angler In Training Adventure program?
"My 8-year-old son, Noah, was eager to learn fishing, but I didn't know the first thing about it! The Reelin Family Fun program was the perfect solution for us. We learned everything together through the weekly Zoom calls – from tying knots to casting basics. The instructors were great at explaining things in a way we could both understand. "This program was hugely beneficial for both Noah and our family. For Noah(8), it took his excitement about fishing and turned it into real skills he could practice – he was thrilled to learn how to cast and handle the gear! Now, instead of just wishing we could fish, we can fish together."
What's one highlight or memorable moment from your time in the program?
"My most memorable moment might just be looking over at Noah during one of the first Zoom calls, seeing him completely absorbed in learning about the fishing gear. It hit me then that this wasn't just a class; we were genuinely starting a new 'adventure' together, just like the program name suggested. That feeling of shared excitement was a real highlight."
Would you recommend this program to other families? Why or why not?
"Yes!!! The biggest benefit was giving our family a new shared activity we can enjoy together. Noah was excited to learn, and because the program taught me the basics right alongside him, it became something we could learn and look forward to as a team. It wasn't just him learning; it was us preparing for future 'casting adventures'. It's provided a fantastic new way for us to connect and spend quality time outdoors."
